Merry Monday Madness!!!
6:00 PM

Monday Madness returns to the Agawam Library! This time, we welcome our Senior Center Friends to join our Merry Monday Game Nights. On Mondays, December 6th and 13th at 6:00 p.m., the Agawam Library is partnering with the Agawam Senior Center for two nights of holiday fun.

Test your knowledge about holiday movies, traditions and songs! And be sure to brush up on your word game skills!  Each night will feature holiday-themed trivia and a rousing game (or two) of Scattergories.

Teams, families and individuals are encouraged to join in the fun. Content is appropriate for grade 5 and above.  Merry Monday Game Nights will be held on the lower level of the Agawam Senior Center.  Refreshments will be served and fun prizes will be awarded for game winners.

Wear your ugliest holiday apparel and you could also win a prize! These programs are free and all are welcome!

Christmas Charity in the Gilded Age
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join us at the Senior Center as an outreach educator from the Mark Twain House in Hartford presents “Christmas Charity in the Gilded Age”. This program recounts one of the most important Christmas traditions for the Clemens family- assembling and delivering baskets of food and gifts to poor families in Hartford. This program explores the family’s charitable efforts in historic context: increasing prosperity for some, increasing poverty for many more, and a society torn over what to do about it.

This will be an in-person event at the Agawam Senior Center. It will take place in Veteran's Hall. Please register online at www.agawamlibrary.org or call 413-789-1550 X4. Library programs are free and all are welcome.
