Rock The Library Quest

In the Rock the Library Quest, Children Have a Grand Adventure - while developing puzzle solving, music composition and research skills!  Children explore the library in search of the secret source of all music: Heart and Soul!  They track down hidden clues that reveal instruments, notes and rhythms, and then use them to create music together!  In the process, they employ deductive reasoning, solve puzzles, work cooperatively and learn to use the library catalog and Dewey Decimal System to find books of all different kinds.  All participants have their own items to find and proceeds at their own pace.  So EVERYONE SUCCEEDS, and then everyone works together to compose, produce and perform a song!
